Arsenal has been hit with 115 charges for allegedly breaking financial restrictions between 2009 and 2018, and they are still waiting on the results of the Premier League’s ongoing investigation into Manchester City. The Daily Mail claims that the Premier League and City have finally decided on a time to square off in front of an impartial panel.

In other news, Arsenal has been strongly linked to a move to sign Douglas Luiz, a star for Aston Villa. Villa’s strong start to the season has been largely attributed to Luiz, and the Gunners are keen to add a new midfield player during the January transfer window.

Gabriel Jesus responded to the rumors after scoring in Wednesday night’s 6-0 victory over Lens. In the meantime, there is still talk about a possible new striker signing at the Emirates Stadium. Football.london looks at all of the most recent news about Arsenal.

Man City sets a trial date for the 115 FFP charges.
As Premier League teams wait for a decision on Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur will be extremely anxious towards the end of the following year. After opening an investigation in 2018, the English premier league charged its champions with 115 alleged financial regulation violations in February.

The Daily Mail claims that the Premier League and City have finally decided on a time to square off in front of an impartial panel. The confrontation has reportedly been scheduled for late autumn of 2024, despite the fact that neither side has released any information.

The Daily Mail notes that a decision might not be made until the summer of 2025, which also happens to be Pep Guardiola’s contract’s expiration date at Etihad Stadium. Delays are said to inevitably cause the proceedings to drag out longer.

Douglas Luiz imparts transfer knowledge
If rumors about Douglas Luiz’s future persist, Dimitar Berbatov thinks his “head will start to spin.”

This month, the midfielder received his first call-up to the national team in two years, and Arsenal is reportedly one of several top European teams pursuing him. The fantastic start to the season for Aston Villa can be attributed in large part to Luiz.

Luiz, 25, has become one of the top defensive midfielders in the Premier League under the direction of former Gunners manager Unai Emery, who expressed his intention to keep the player this past weekend. According to reports, Arsenal intends to let go of Thomas Partey in order to make room in the engine room for a new anchor man.

Gabriel Jesus responds angrily to Arsenal transfer rumors
In his fourth Champions League match of the current campaign, Gabriel Jesus netted his fourth goal. It continues a record he set in the competition with Manchester City, where he has scored 24 goals in 42 games for a better-than-one-in-two record.

His goal-scoring consistency in Premier League games hasn’t been as strong, despite this record. In his 34 Arsenal appearances, he has scored 12 goals in the Premier League, but as always, context matters, and the injuries he has sustained have severely affected any momentum he has tried to build. In contrast, the Champions League games have gone mostly without a hitch, with the exception of missing the home match against Sevilla.

After helping Arsenal secure the top spot in their Champions League group with that fourth goal in a 6-0 victory over RC Lens, Jesus talked to reporters from football.london and other outlets. We questioned the Brazilian about his performance in the competition and the variations in his form between home and European matches.

In the Premier League on Saturday night, Manchester United plays Crystal Palace.

United is confident going into the match after winning 3-0 against Southampton the previous weekend and a dominant 7-0 over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount’s return to full training at Carrington earlier in the week has given Erik ten Hag’s team momentum.

In the Carabao Cup, Crystal Palace also advanced to the next round, but their start to the Premier League has been disappointing as they have only managed two points from four games.

BREAKING: THEEE Arsenal’s major starters including the only player who has been impressive this season are not in contention to face Man City today tomorrow as leaked information surface online

On Sunday, Arsenal will go to the northwest to play Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in a match that will determine who finishes top of the Premier League league. William Saliba has cautioned the Gooners not to get ahead of themselves; winning the league will need more than just defeating City, even though winning that game increases the Gunners’ chances of winning the league.

In their road match versus City during the Premier League run-in last year, Arsenal and the defending champions drew 0-0. Following that tie with City, Arsenal’s detractors asserted that they lost the title match because they chose to play for a draw rather than a win, which would have given them three points and won the league by a single point.

The Gunners haven’t defeated City at the Etihad Stadium in nine years, but on Sunday they have the opportunity to disprove the doubters.

For this weekend’s heavyweight encounter, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should have a stronger team despite the absences of Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino. Hopefully, Kevin De Bruyne’s injury will prevent him from playing for the Citizens.

Arsenal’s defensive star Saliba has expressed the team’s resolve to win on Sunday, but even a victory over City will not guarantee them the title of league winners. Saliba says that beating City on Sunday is undoubtedly in the cards, but he also says that the club needs to work hard to play consistently after that.

(4-3-3): Mikel Arteta excludes FOUR first team players from the squad to face Man City tomorrow to create room for new signings and academy players

On Sunday, Arsenal will play Manchester City, their likely title challengers, at the Etihad Stadium, capping up maybe the most difficult week of the team’s season.

Even though this big match takes place just a month into the new campaign, it is impossible to overstate how important an away victory in Manchester would be. Although Arsenal has not lost to the Cityzens in their last three meetings, they have not triumphed at the Etihad since Pep Guardiola became manager.

Since Brentford in November 2022, no visiting club has actually taken all three points at City’s stronghold. Without a doubt, it’s a difficult location to visit.

The visitors are without skipper Martin Odegaard and still carrying a very long list of injuries. Here is how we think Arteta’s Arsenal starting lineup will appear on Sunday in an attempt to avoid losing. Arteta may go all Tony Pulis on Sunday.

Arsenal vs. Man City lineup prediction
Potential starting lineup for Arsenal:
Raya; Havertz, Partey, Rice; Saka, Jesus, Trossard; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber
