Erik Ten Hag is Really trying to blend Him into the team but it’s seems it’s not working at the moment and we can’t risk our chance to quality for Champions league again”, Alex Ferguson urged Ten Hag to drop £70m Man united star now or He might cause the champions League spot again this season

Erik Ten Hag is making a real effort to integrate him into the team, but it doesn’t seem to be working right now, and we can’t jeopardise our chances of qualifying for the Champions League once more. Alex Ferguson warned Ten Hag not to hold onto the £70 million Manchester United star just yet, as he may ruin the Champions League spot once more this year.

Despite several difficulties, Manchester United began the 2024–25 Premier League season with three points thanks to a late goal from rookie Joshua Zirkzee against Fulham.

The former Bologna forward, who signed a £36.5 million contract in July, scored in the 87th minute after guiding Alejandro Garnacho’s cross into the goal. The Old Trafford hosts’ test match saw little of the expected control and fluidity.

With almost 97% of the season remaining, United is now leading the league table. Despite this, there are plenty of reasons for excitement. But not everyone lived up to the mark, with Mason Mount particularly lacking.

The way Mason Mount played against Fulham
Mount, who cost £55 million to sign when he left Chelsea in the summer of 2023, had a terrible 2023–24 season, making just five starts in the top flight due to a mountain of injuries.

After contributing to the Red Devils’ Community Shield defeat to Manchester City last week for just under an hour, the England international was granted another starting position.

Journalist Joe Lyons said of Mount’s struggles in the Premier League curtain-raiser that he “has to be up there with the poorest and most mind-boggling signings post-Fergie,” struggling to seize the moment and playing off the flow of the game before becoming hooked near the hour mark.

Although Mount did shown flashes of the talent that made United pay a high price to get him, there is still much work to be done after he missed an incredible opportunity in the second half and did not give the full performance that was so frequently displayed at Stamford Bridge when he was at his best.

It’s unfair to place all the blame on one player, who showed flashes of brilliance and will likely grow into the role as the season goes on, but the £250k-per-week talent needs to improve because he hasn’t exactly established himself as a sure starter.

Marcus Rashford hasn’t either, really.

It’s all Marcus Rashford has to prove.
Rashford was at his brilliant best during the 2022–2023 season, Ten Hag’s first as manager. He racked up 30 goals and ten assists in all competitions, earning the manager’s nickname of “unstoppable.”

An even darker story of inconsistency and anonymity was told in the previous season. In the league, Rashford only managed seven goals and only gave half of his previous performance.

He just has to regain his all-encompassing offensive prowess that had the United supporters in a state of excitement practically every week. Against the tenacious Cottagers, he failed his audition.

Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News echoed an undercurrent of dissatisfaction for a star who has much to prove this year, even though his post-match remarks weren’t particularly critical.

Giving Rashford a five-star rating for the match, he wrote: “Much possession of the ball in the first half, but not really dangerous. unintentionally played in Mount, who missed the close-range attempt.

In the Premier League on Saturday night, Manchester United plays Crystal Palace.

United is confident going into the match after winning 3-0 against Southampton the previous weekend and a dominant 7-0 over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount’s return to full training at Carrington earlier in the week has given Erik ten Hag’s team momentum.

In the Carabao Cup, Crystal Palace also advanced to the next round, but their start to the Premier League has been disappointing as they have only managed two points from four games.

BREAKING: THEEE Arsenal’s major starters including the only player who has been impressive this season are not in contention to face Man City today tomorrow as leaked information surface online

On Sunday, Arsenal will go to the northwest to play Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in a match that will determine who finishes top of the Premier League league. William Saliba has cautioned the Gooners not to get ahead of themselves; winning the league will need more than just defeating City, even though winning that game increases the Gunners’ chances of winning the league.

In their road match versus City during the Premier League run-in last year, Arsenal and the defending champions drew 0-0. Following that tie with City, Arsenal’s detractors asserted that they lost the title match because they chose to play for a draw rather than a win, which would have given them three points and won the league by a single point.

The Gunners haven’t defeated City at the Etihad Stadium in nine years, but on Sunday they have the opportunity to disprove the doubters.

For this weekend’s heavyweight encounter, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should have a stronger team despite the absences of Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino. Hopefully, Kevin De Bruyne’s injury will prevent him from playing for the Citizens.

Arsenal’s defensive star Saliba has expressed the team’s resolve to win on Sunday, but even a victory over City will not guarantee them the title of league winners. Saliba says that beating City on Sunday is undoubtedly in the cards, but he also says that the club needs to work hard to play consistently after that.

(4-3-3): Mikel Arteta excludes FOUR first team players from the squad to face Man City tomorrow to create room for new signings and academy players

On Sunday, Arsenal will play Manchester City, their likely title challengers, at the Etihad Stadium, capping up maybe the most difficult week of the team’s season.

Even though this big match takes place just a month into the new campaign, it is impossible to overstate how important an away victory in Manchester would be. Although Arsenal has not lost to the Cityzens in their last three meetings, they have not triumphed at the Etihad since Pep Guardiola became manager.

Since Brentford in November 2022, no visiting club has actually taken all three points at City’s stronghold. Without a doubt, it’s a difficult location to visit.

The visitors are without skipper Martin Odegaard and still carrying a very long list of injuries. Here is how we think Arteta’s Arsenal starting lineup will appear on Sunday in an attempt to avoid losing. Arteta may go all Tony Pulis on Sunday.

Arsenal vs. Man City lineup prediction
Potential starting lineup for Arsenal:
Raya; Havertz, Partey, Rice; Saka, Jesus, Trossard; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber
