Morikawa leaves the Memorial, according to News Wires 5 June 2023

Ohio’s DUBLIN Back spasms prevented Collin Morikawa from competing in the Memorial golf tournament final round, preventing him from winning at Muirfield Village a second time.

Morikawa was two shots off the lead after shooting 68 in the third round. He claimed that during pre-round exercises, one of his lower back muscles gave out.

Moving up from the Challenge Tour was McKibbin. He grew up playing with four-time major winner Rory McIlroy at the Holywood Golf Club, which is located close to Belfast. His best tour accomplishment to date was leading the Singapore Classic in the first round in March before tying for the 12th place.
